Preaching can be compared to the art of bridge building. Just as a bridge connects two places, my goal as a preacher is to build a bridge between the world of the Bible and the postmodern world we live in today. It’s not just about explaining the biblical text; it’s about communicating effectively and delivering a God-given message to a living audience that needs to hear it. There’s a gap between ancient scriptures and our present cultural context, and I aim to bridge it through practical preaching. Together, let’s bridge the divide and make the timeless wisdom of the Bible relevant and applicable to our lives today.
Currently, I serve as Rector at Prince of Peace Anglican Church in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, USA, within the Anglican Diocese of Pittsburgh (ADP) and the Province of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA).

Read Jeremiah 29:4-6
Week One | Defeating Discouragement
So how should we apply the truth from this passage?
- Bloom where you are planted.
- Serve the Lord right where you are.
- Stop moping!
- Don’t let your emotional life live in the past or the future
- Let God define your life, not your earthly circumstances.
- Don’t expect change to make you happy.
- Never forget that you won’t be here forever.
Finally, that brings us to a fundamental spiritual truth; the only thing that matters is knowing Jesus and growing closer to God daily through him. Nothing else matters; if we know God in Christ, then we are the most blessed and highly favoured of all people on planet Earth.
